This December, we’re partnering with stores across Rochester and the surrounding area to bring Christmas cheer to kids at Golisano Children’s Hospital. Many children spend their holidays in the hospital, and donated toys help make their experience brighter, more comfortable, and a little more fun during a tough time.
To make this happen at scale, we’re running a friendly competition between participating smoke shops and dispensaries. The more toys a store collects, the more rewards they earn — and every toy goes directly to kids right here in Western New York.
Why We’re Doing This
Golisano Children’s Hospital cares for thousands of kids each year, including many who spend the holidays undergoing treatment or long stays away from home. The hospital relies heavily on toy donations to support holiday events, playrooms, and gift-giving programs for patients of all ages.
Beast Coast Packaging is donating all materials, handling logistics, and coordinating the entire drive. Stores only need to display the box and accept new toy donations.
How the Toy Drive Works
1. Stores Collect Toys
Every participating location receives:
- A branded collection box
- Customer-facing flyers
- A store instruction guide
- Optional side panels + signage
- Weekly pickup from our team
Stores place the box near the checkout counter and accept new, unwrapped toys from customers. Any age range is welcome. No used items, clothing, or opened packaging.
We handle pickups, counting, and tracking.
Competition & Rewards
To encourage participation, we’re rewarding the top-performing stores with free packaging.
Top 5 Stores (Most Toys Donated):
- 2,000 Free Custom-Branded Exit Bags
1st Place Bonus:
- 1,000 Custom Lanyards
- 1,000 Custom Die-Cut Stickers
All Participating Stores:
- Social media promotion
- Recognition in our end-of-drive announcement

Timeline
- Toy Collection Window: December 1 – December 22
- Final Pickup: December 23
- Winners Announced: December 26
- Exit Bag Delivery: Early February
Our team will stop by each store once per week to pick up toys and log totals. If a box fills early, stores can call, text, or email for a faster pickup.
What Stores Need to Do
Participation is intentionally simple.
- Place the provided collection box in a visible location
- Display the customer flyer
- Accept new, unwrapped toys
- Keep the box accessible and not blocked by product
- Optional: post the flyer on Instagram to help spread awareness
Everything else—pickup, counting, logistics—is handled by our team.
